Summary
We are looking for an experienced Bosun/ 3rd Officer with at least 2 years + as a Bosun on the same size vessel, to join a Private 85m+ MY.
Our Bosun/ 3rd Officer is a true leader who can guide and train a deck team, lead and motivate his team in a professional but relaxed manner and someone who takes safety very seriously.
Our ideal candidate is organized and efficient and very knowledgeable on deck in regard to operations and deck maintenance, great management skills in a calm and professional manner, a great communicator with excellent problem-solving skills, detail oriented and willing to exceed guest expectations.
Our candidate doesn't need to be hugely confident in the bridge, a newly qualified OOW would be considered but we would like someone who can easily drive tenders, crane ops, watersports etc and get to grips with the deck management and maintenance side of things
Attention to detail and a good safety mindset is equally important.
NO party animals, someone career driven and who’s got long term goals and longevity in mind.
We are looking for a positive and energetic candidate with a calm and professional attitude and a great sense of humour, a real Team player with charisma, a good nature and able to be firm - but no egos please.
Excellent crew with good deck and bridge team onboard.

Required Documents/Certificates: OOW, STCW, ENG1, PDSD
Requirements for application: Min 2 years’ experience as a Bosun and ideally prior experience as a 3rd Officer on a similar size yacht.
