The candidate specification

We're currently seeking an experienced Head of Housekeeping to join a new under-construction Motor Yacht (140m+) on a shore-based contract. This position will transition to a fully rotational schedule towards the end of the year after delivery.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all housekeeping operations onboard.

Ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained throughout the vessel.

Manage a team of Housekeepers and Crew Mess Assistant.

Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and expectations.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role on large yachts.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Shipyard experience is advantageous.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Note: Crew structure not yet finalised. The Head of Housekeeping will manage three Housekeepers and one Crew Mess Assistant

Required experience:Minimum 2 years of HoH experience on yachts over 100 meters or solid background in Housekeeping and interior management.

Alternative Consideration: Candidates with significant senior stewardess experience on large yachts.
