Location: New York area

Start date: SOON for 4 months

Itinerary: New York, Nantucket, local cruising

Licence: none

Requirements: valid STCW95 and ENG1 or current US medical certificate. US Citizen or a green card holder. Previous experience on boats.

Responsibilities: To assist Captain with wash downs, service, lines, etc.

Other: This is for the remainder of the summer . It will be a great job for someone that wants to spend the summer in New England/ NY area.

Job Specifics: This is a nice family program. Kayaking, jet skiing, cruising. Assisting with deck work, wash downs, water sports, interior as well, serving drinks, bartending. Picking up catered meals, dropping of laundry, provisioning, etc.

Mainly local cruising

Deck rolls

     Assisting with wash downs 

     Polishing, Waxing and general detailing

     Assisting with lines and fenders when docking

General boat handling would be a plus but can also be taught

Interior rolls

     Serving guests drinks and food

     Cleaning and detailing the interior

     Picking up provisions

     Picking up catering

     Laundry/ Housekeeping 

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience.

Package : Will be advised. Insured while working.

Commercial Registered Yacht: No
