Summary

We are looking for a Deck Stew for a newly built 27m motor yacht. The vessel will

be mostly for private use with a bit of charter. This is a seasonal position from the

start of June until end of September starting in Turkey and cruising through Greece

and Croatia.

The position will be 50/50 deck/stew with more deckhand duties off charter and

more stewardess duties on charter. Duties include beds/heads, laundry, service, and

detailing on the inside. Toys, tenders, lines, fenders, washdowns, polishing, and

detailing on the outside.

The ideal candidate will be a hard worker with a positive, can-do attitude that takes

instruction well and has an impeccable attention to detail. They will be polite,

precise, well-organized and keen to learn and to improve their skills. They will also

have at least 1 year previous yachting experience on a similar sized vessels and in

the same position.

Open to couples as the vessel is also looking for a seasonal Sole Chef.

Job Responsibilities

• Cleanliness of the yacht wash downs, stainless polishing, waxing

• Continued learning of yacht maintenance, operations and systems; line

handling, tender driving, navigation, safety, water sports

• Guest service - meals and bartending

• Cabin service and detailing

• Polishing - glassware, flatware, silverware

• Refrigerated drinks restocking

Qualifications, training and skills required

▪ Basic STCW safety training, including PSA or PDSD

▪ Powerboat Level II

▪ ENG1 Medical Fitness Certificate

▪ Prior table service and housekeeping experience

▪ Fit and active individual

▪ Schengen visa or citizenship

▪ Fluency in English is a must. Any other language will be a plus.
