Summary

A 40m+ private Motor Yacht is looking for a First Mate to stat ASAP.

This a great opportunity for an experienced First Mate wanting to be based in Australia and work on a well run yacht.

The yacht will be based in Sydney, Australia for 8 months of the year and will cruise the South Pacific and Queensland, throughout the rest of the year.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience as Bosun or above and hold as a minimum their Offshore Yacht Master or AMSA Master V/24m . They must have experience standing a navigational watch, be confident to run the deck and have good tender driving skills.

The package includes a salary between 4500-5000 euro DOE, 38 days leave per year, time off in lieu if you work the weekends or public holidays, a flight allowance and medical insurance.

As the vessel is based in Sydney the majority of the year, the ideal candidate will be someone who is based in Sydney. The successful applicant has the option to live ashore or on board.

Due to the location of the yacht, the position is only open to candidates with Australian working rights.
