Job Title: Head Gardener

Location: Mougins, France

Job Type: Contract

Salary: Gross salary of €4500 per month

We are seeking an experienced Head Gardener for our longstanding HNW client in Mougins. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in horticulture and landscaping, with a passion for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of gardening and landscaping within the Domaine, ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and presentation.

Design and implement garden plans, considering seasonal changes and aesthetic appeal.

Maintain an inventory of plants, tools, and equipment, ensuring they are properly cared for and replaced as necessary.

Implement sustainable gardening practices, including composting, water conservation, and organic pest control.

Liaise with other departments within the company to coordinate garden maintenance schedules and special projects.

Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify any issues or areas for improvement.

Provide training and development opportunities for gardening staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the safe use of equipment and handling of chemicals.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Gardener or similar role.

Extensive knowledge of plants, trees, and landscaping techniques, with a keen eye for detail.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (French language skills would be advantageous).

A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A valid driver's license.

Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as required
