Bosun – 56m Sailing Yacht – Genoa

We are working with a private 56m Sailing Yacht that is currently spending time in Genoa. They are looking for an experienced Bosun to join their crew.

As Bosun, you will lead the experienced exterior team to complete a diverse range of duties. This will involve designating work lists, managing the deck crew and taking on your own maintenance projects.

The boat has an owner trip planned in mid-June before a 15-year survey in the winter. They then have plans to head to the Bahamas in March 2025 and potentially the Pacific.

You will be male due to cabin arrangements.

Salary and Benefits:

Responsibilities:

•Managing the deck crew

•Designating work lists

•Maintenance projects

•Ensuring all duties are carried out to the very best standards

•Communicating with the rest of the crew

The Individual:

•You will be an experienced Bosun who has previously worked on a similar size Sailing Yacht

•You will have your YMOS minimum with a few OOW modules

•You will be competent standing a navigational watch

•You will ideally have yard period and large sailboat experience
