Summary

An exciting opportunity for a skilled chef to work in rotation with the head chef onboard a magnificent 40+m motor yacht based in and cruising the Mediterranean. The Principals like all types of cuisines and are willing to try various foods within their dietary requirements. You will work onboard the yacht during the months of May, July and September 2024 and can enjoy free time during the summer months when the head chef is on duty (i.e. June and August 2024) with a possibility to change the rotation length in the future and / or to make it a permanent rotation chef position.

Organisation and excellent preparation skills are extremely important as each transition period should be seamless. Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for healthy cuisine and proficiency in preparing meals following a diabetic diet is essential. You should possess a positive and easy-going attitude and the ability to work well within a close-knit team. You must have experience sourcing the best quality local ingredients in changing locations and be flexible, adaptable and confident in speaking with the Principals.

If your profile fits this position then you must be available for a trial at the principal\'s residence in Monaco in the next two weeks. Start date early May. Candidates will be asked to send a sample menu with help from the head chef before the trial. All certificates must be up to date, STCW, ENG1 and Food Hygiene Level 3. Salary DOE for the 5 month period plus travel and expenses to and from the yacht during each rotational period. Male or Female candidates will be considered.
