Hey Im Dan, green deckhand seeking a permanent position and ready to give my all.

I am proficient in the majority of deck activities: Wash down procedures, blading, chamois, window / glass cleaning and blading, RainX application. Wet and dry stainless polishing (Autosol). Teak care, two part teak scrub. Line handling & knots, (bowline, clove hitch, stopper knots, towing knots), fender, anchoring & crane lifting procedures. Superstructure repair prep - taping, filling and fairing. Water toys set up and dock (Nautibuoy). Towing procedures (wakeboard / ski / tube). Tender driving, close quarters manoeuvres & beach launches.

I know how to conduct myself in a professional, polite and helpful manner while maintaining discretion at all times.

Additional land based skills include: From my recent house build: carpentry: using power tools, belt sander, planer, circular saw, drills (masonry / timber) to build and anchor; railings, fencing, outdoor gates, staircase handrails and decking (see uploads). Plumbing: layouts, connections, rainwater tanks and pump systems, drainage. Waterproofing application, masking & painting, upkeep cleaning and maintenance. Cooking (vegetarian).

Wavehouse: guest interaction and conduct, surf and bodyboarding instructor, demonstrations, strict safety protocols. Hospitality: mixology & bartending.

Digital design studio: video editing & photography, social media management, marketing (Social media & Google adwords), website design, hosting, email campaigns, lead funnels, invoice automation, other business admin.

Recreational skills: advanced surfing and wakeboarding, diet and nutrition.

Strength training maxes: bench press:110kg | military press: 75kg | squat 150kg | deadlift: 160kg | barbell Row: 100kg weighted pull up, 40kg.

My hobbies include: working out and building strength, pushing myself in my surfing, enjoying beach time with the family, friends and dogs, Wakeboarding, PWCing, Wakeskating. I also enjoy travelling, seeing new places and am aways up for an adventure. I also love pushing people in their workouts and do my best to bring out the best in people around me.
