I am a Charter Yacht Captain with New Build experience and a strong CHARTER background.

I am a Master Mariner with 20+ years of seagoing experience aboard various types of ships with proven leadership and decision-making capabilities. Skilled in developing strong working relationships, promoting team spirit/cooperation, and delivering excellent customer service/hospitality to guests.

Over 10 years of CHARTER experience and I have navigated through the US East and West coast, Alaska, Hawaii, The Caribbean, The Bahamas, BVI, USVI, The Panama Canal, Central and South America including Patagonia, Magellan Strait and the Chilean Fjords (Cape Horn), North Europe, Norwegian Fjords and the Scandinavian countries, The Mediterranean including many Greek Islands and Turkish ports and the North of Africa. Experienced sailing The South Pacific Islands including French Polynesia, New Zealand and Australia, numerous ports in Asia from Singapore to Japan, as well as a number of Atlantic and Pacific crossings. I am proficient in navigating 100M+ vessels through the ice and am knowledgeable of IMO Polar Code requirements.

I have a broad understanding of current regulations, including, but not limited to SOLAS, MLC, ILO, STCW-10, ISPS, ISM, MARPOL, Caribbean MoU, Paris MoU, and Class Society. Proficient with various drive systems: Azipod ABB, Jet Drive, Arneson Drive, Sail, Conventional Twin Becker rudder and fixed propeller, conventional twin Becker rudder and pitched propeller, conventional twin rudder, and propeller, conventional single rudder, and propeller. Strong experience in shipyard projects, including new builds, as well as with planning, supervision, completion, and follow-up of refit projects.

I am interested in a full-time position and open to freelance as a CAPTAIN of a motor yacht or sailing yacht on a private or charter vessel, anywhere in the world, I am very interested in vessels over 40M. Also interested in CHIEF OFFICER position in vessels over 70M.
