CHIEF STEWARDESS/PURSER NEEDED FOR A 50m+ PRIVATE MOTOR YACHT (PRIVATE)

The Chief Stew has to be happy with a very admin based role, as there is a lot of reporting, management requirements and winter work lists that need to be maintained. They need to be proficient in accounts and maintaining inventories. The interior team runs with a team of 5 girls. The owners are a lovely Russian family, very specific and with incredibly high standards. However, the boat has a good system that the owners are happy with and is easy to step into and maintain. The current system allows for a busy summer in Russia and then a winter season maintaining the boat, training the girls and keeping inventories and systems up to date.
The right candidate needs to be strong, honest and have a self-driven work ethic. The boss picks up on strong and good values and therefore this nature is NB. They need to have excellent Silver Service experience, a love for table décor and a very good eye for the small and personal touches that will enhance the guests experience on board. It will be advantageous for the candidate to have worked with Russian families before, as the family is traditional and their meals are traditional. The captain is great at letting the teams get on with their work, provided the job is done at the end of the day.
The Owners are lovely, the boat is incredibly well maintained and is continuously having improvement done to the boat by the owner. There is a good budget for interior projects, crew and guest items.
The guests do not heavily utilise the boat and the owners mostly use the boats for the weekend, bar 1 or 2 weeks here and there. The boat is best suited to people who are self-motivated, who enjoy spending time on their own, going to gym. It is not a hugely social boat crew wise. The crew are more into keeping fit
Total crew of 13 with 5 girls in the interior (Chief Stew/Purser, Head of Service, Head of Housekeeping (2nd), Spa Stew, Junior Stew)
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION
Food and Hygiene Level 2
Min 5 years in yachting with proven longevity and strong references
2-3 years as CS on similar sized vessel.
Silver service skills.
High level of detail.
Salary: €5500-6000 DOE
Leave: 42 Days
Flights: 1 Return Flight per year. After 1 year onboard
