Viking are looking for permanent Junior Sous Chef with pastry/pâtisserie skills to join a high-end and luxury lodge in the north island of New Zealand. You will be working under an international Head Chef with michelin background, and helping producing high-end and refined cuisine for a limited amount of paying clients during the summer months. The style of food produced in the kitchen is 'farm to table dining' with emphasis on using in house, local and organic vegetables and meats. Ideally candidates will have a background in pastry/pâtisserie, however this is not a deal breaker. This role is to start asap for the right candidate, and the package includes accommodation, a generous salary and meals.
