Stewardess/Crew Cook position onboard a busy private/charter M/Y. The position is to start soon and so the candidate must be able to hit the ground running. Therefore we require at least one seasons experience in a similar role. Although it is advertised as 'seasonal' the position may become permanent for the right person. Off-Charter you will be an integral part of an interior team of five, carrying out all duties as stipulated by the Chief Stewardess. To include but not limited to: crew mess, laundry, detailing, preparing and turning the interior ready for charter and owner trips. Some time will be allocated to the galley so as to maintain culinary skills at the agreement of the Chef and Chief Stewardess. On-charter you will be required to prepare all meals for a crew of 13 in conjunction with the chef and maintain galley hygiene along with the chef. Organisation and forward planning are essential in order to work seamlessly around the guests requirements. You may also be required to assist the chef with larger meals/events as required. In addition you will also complete some interior duties daily and to be flexible to assist where required. The candidate must be competent and confident in all aspects of both roles as this is an equally divided role with no higher emphasis on either. Subsequently you must be happy to divide your time between the two with enthusiasm and efficiency. This is a non-smoking role and priority will be given to non smokers. The vessel is full ISPS/ISM/MLC so all certifications required prior to joining. Female only due to cabin allocations.
