Rotational Chief Officer opportunity on board 100m+ Private M/Y

Start Date: Mid July 2018 Location: Middle East Package: 9,000 Euros; 182 days leave (3;3 rotation), 2 return flights to Homeport per year

Experience and Attributes Required:

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience on board Commercial Vessels or Yachts
  • Superior leadership, communication and management and diplomacy skills
  • Excellent boat handling and navigational skills
  • Strong ISM and ISPS procedure knowledge
  • Must be able to remain calm and give direction at all times
  • Excellent knowledge of maintenance, engineering and technical troubleshooting
  • Experience with Heli Deck and tendering operations
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Organised and methodical

Qualifications Required:

  • Chief Mate or Master Mariner Unlimited
  • Fast Rescue Boat or Proficiency in Survival Craft Certificate (mandatory)
  • SSO, GMDSS (mandatory)
  • Medical Care Certificate (mandatory)
  • HLO, PWC, AFF (mandatory)
  • Crisis and Crowd Management Certificate (mandatory)
  • ECDIS (preferred)
  • STCW (all up-dated)
  • Seafarer’s Medical (Min 6 months validity)
  • Seaman’s Discharge Book (mandatory)
  • Vaccination Card with Yellow Fever and Hep B (preferred)
