We are seeking a qualified marine mechanic with experience in servicing a variety of tenders, watercraft, jet skis and more! Reporting directly to the Load Master, duties will include routine maintenance and ensuring readiness of all the equipment onboard.
The successful candidate MUST have the following qualifications: Marine engineer qualifications and experience Powerboat License Level 2 Valid Passport, ENG1 and Seaman’s Discharge Book STCW 95 Basic safety training certificate with Security Awareness certificate
The successful candidate will have the following attributes and experience: Reporting directly to the Bosun (indirectly to the Loadmaster) the Tender Technician shall carry out the below duties Duties include but are not limited to: Operational routine maintenance, servicing and ensuring readiness of all tenders / toys onboard Fueling of tenders / toys Maintain tenders and toys in as perfect order both mechanically and cosmetically Ensuring that all tenders and toys onboard M2 are in a state of readiness and ready for immediate use at all times. Ensuring all garages are kept clean and tidy at all times Carry out wash down/cleaning/detailing routines for all tenders / toys onboard the vessel Any defects or faults are reported immediately Repairs carried out as required (including Fiberglass and painting etc.) Ensuring that all planned maintenance is carried out as per the Planned maintenance system onboard the vessel and reported to the Load Master. Servicing of tenders and toys Preparation of tenders/toys as per boss requirements Inventorying of Spare parts Ensure that any spare parts deemed necessary are reported to the Load Master All spare parts used are to be reported to the Load Master to ensure a correct stock level is maintained onboard. Assisting in the launching and recovery of tenders/toys Whilst on guest trips assist in the manning and/or delivery of tenders and boats as directed by the Load Master / Chief Officer or Captain. Assisting in the setup of floating docks etc. Assist on deck as required Undertake emergency roles / duties as part of and Emergency Response Team Member as required Heli operations Responsible for the safekeeping and welfare of the yacht and all persons onboard (including guests) whether in port or at sea Is presentable at all times with due regard to their proximity to guests Any other tasks as required per operational requirements by the the Bosun or Load Master Confident and knowledgeable.
Salary: €3.200 per month. 122 days leave per year. 2 return economy flights to your homeport.
