Summary
We are currently recruiting a Temporary OOW to assist with the delivery of a new-build vessel on her maiden voyage. The successful candidate will have experience in leading navigational watches and a strong working knowledge of all bridge equipment and systems, including proven ECDIS proficiency. A high level of safety awareness and professionalism is essential.
In addition to watchkeeping duties, the candidate will be expected to work on deck when not navigating, so must be hands-on, proactive, and comfortable supporting deck operations as required.
The role requires flexibility with availability, as the duration will be weather dependent, expected to last approximately 4–8 weeks. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vessel’s first journey and contribute to a successful and safe passage. With a new team on board, a positive attitude and strong work ethic will be greatly valued. Excellent references are essential.
