Sole Engineer in United States

Summary

We are urgently seeking a Chief Engineer for an immediate start for a 50m motor yacht, 3:3 rotational position joining the yacht in Florida.

Please note that this is a sole Engineer position.

Yacht and commercial background preferred holding the Chief Engineer Officer (750 kW to 3,000 kW).(STCW Regulation III/3) ticket as minimum.

An excellent level of English is required for this position

B1B2 visa in hand is essential

Schengen visa where required

Salary $16000 per month paid whilst serving onboard.

3 months on and 3 months off.

Shared cabin

SEA contract

Flights to and from the vessel

American owners, British Captain

Predominantly private use only

The yacht is currently berthed in West Palm Beach with plans to be in the Caribbean for the winter and possibly the Mediterranean next summer.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/2 Y2 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
