We’re looking for a Sous / Crew Chef to join a 55m motor yacht currently based in France in the yard for the winter. The vessel has run a busy charter program in previous seasons, American owners.
For the winter period, there won’t be a Head Chef onboard - so you’ll be running the galley solo, cooking healthy, balanced crew meals with some good home comforts. Once the season kicks off, there’s potential to step up into the Head Chef role, so it’s a fantastic opportunity for a confident, motivated chef ready to take that next step.
You’ll be joining a friendly, down-to-earth crew of mainly British, South African, and Australian nationals. The team gets along well, enjoys a good laugh, and values someone who’s easy-going, upbeat, and genuinely enjoys being part of the crew dynamic.
The ideal candidate:
- Previous yacht experience as Crew or Sous Chef
- Passion for nutritious, well-balanced meals that keep the crew fuelled and happy
- Confident working independently and managing galley operations through the winter

- €5,000 per month
