Summary
We are looking for a skilled and confident Deck/ 2nd Engineer for a striking 50m Private MY
The vessel is single season with fair usage throughout the summer season in the med with the occasional charter from time to time. The owners enjoy family style trips with guests of all ages
They will spend the winter in the shipyard for her survey before commencing the busy med season
You will be joining a crew of 9 in total with long standing HoDs and Captains, The crew are professional, welcoming, and take pride in maintaining high standards on this iconic vessel.
The Role
- Assist in engineering operations — maintenance, servicing, rebuilds, and mechanical systems throughout the winter
- Support deck operations during guest trips — tender driving, watersports, washdowns, and guest activities during the summer months
- AEC1/2 as a minimum
- Proven experience on a similar sized programme or marine engineering land based experience
- EU Passport holder due to vessel location and Itinerary
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: €4,000/month
Leave: MLC standard 35 days per year
Extras: Training package to assist toward further engineering tickets
