Summary
Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking a rotational Chief Engineer for a 50m+ busy charter motor yacht.
This is a hands-on, rotational role on a busy dual-season charter vessel, suited to a professional who thrives in a high-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum Y3 commercial yacht qualification; higher-level certifications advantageous
- Proven experience as Chief Engineer on similar-sized yachts, or as 2nd Engineer on 50m+ vessels
- Strong technical knowledge across all yacht systems, including engines and generators (Main Engines: MAN D2862LE446, Generators: Kohler 125EFOZDJ – 125kW VAC 3PH 50Hz)
- Team-oriented, professional, and adaptable; able to assist in other departments when needed

Salary: EUR 8250
Leave: 2:2 rotation
