Itinerary: Med summer, winter US/Caribbean

 

Licence Required: OOW+ (GMDSS is a bonus)

 

Requirements: 

STCW + Refresher

Tender driving, water sports 

Experience as a 1st mate on 35m+ for 2 years+

Charter experience

ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)

Passport (minimum 1 year)

EU passport or Schengen if needed

 

VISA: B1/B2 visa ideally but not essential for this summer.

 

Background check and drug testing may apply.

 

Responsibilities: Deck/Exterior 90% Bridge/Office 10%

 

Job Specifics: Managing 1 deck crew. Hands on deck. Tender driving, deck maintenance, water sports, beach set ups, etc. New build experience is a plus.

 

Other: Looking for a hands on and hard worker 1st officer to oversee the deck operations. The boat is currently in charter and is booked through August. Plus owner use. It will head back to the US then Caribbean in November.

 

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience. Very good. USD

 

Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, paid leave per MI flag., etc. to be finalized during interview process.

 

Commercial Registered Yacht: Yes under 500gt

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Officer of the Watch <3000gt
