Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a 2nd Engineer/Deckhand for a 50m new build
This is an exciting opportunity to join a 50m new build onboard. The ideal candidate should have a passion for engineering and experience on deck.
Requirements
- Must hold AEC 2 as minimum
- Min. 2 years’ experience in yachting or 3 years on commercial vessel
- Strong troubleshooting & problem solving skills / mechanical issues
- Power Boat L2 highly beneficial
- Strong deck experience for when needed (owner & charter trips)
- Great communication skills and a team player
- B1/B2 visa is a huge advantage
Responsibilities
- Assisting Chief Engineer and carrying out planned maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections, and supporting the overall safety and efficiency of the yacht’s operation
- Supporting the team in all aspects of daily yacht operations
- Assisting in all aspects of deck, including exterior maintenance and tender driving
Start date: July
Location: Italy
Salary: EUR 4500
Leave: 42 days per year
(2 flights per year)
Program & Itinerary- New build- Dual Season -Private with plans to turn charter 2026.
