Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a 2nd Officer for a 65m+ yacht
Looking for a 2nd Officer for a private yacht with dual-season operations and low-frequency usage. The yacht offers a stable work/life balance as it remains alongside when not in use.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with navigation, watchkeeping, and safety operations aboard the yacht.
· Oversee and supervise the deck crew in maintaining the yacht's deck operations.
· Ensure the yacht is kept in pristine condition, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
· Manage deck inventory, maintenance, and equipment checks.
· Assist with crew training and development.
· Support the Captain and senior officers in daily operations and long-term planning.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 1 years’ experience as 2/O
· Strong deck and navigational skills.
· OOW required
· Valid ENG1 medical certificate.
· Able to lead deck team with confidence and ability in all aspects
· Proficient with bridge equipment and yacht systems.
· Experience of IDEA Planned Maintenance a plus
· Excellent tender driving skills

Salary: EUR DOE
Leave: 60 days
13th month performance related bonus and annual pay increase
