2nd Engineer in Spain

Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Rotational 2nd Engineer for a 55m busy private/charter M/Y. This is dual season program.

The 2nd Engineer will be responsible for the technical operations in collaboration with the chief. A proactive approach towards enhancing vessel systems and spaces is essential.

They should have experience with Crestron and Starlink and previous experience with MTU engines would be valued.

Excellent references and proven longevity are essential. 

Contract: Rotational 10 on 10 off, time for time rotation

Start Date: End of October

Ticket: STCW Reg III/1 or Y3 equivalent

Experience: Minimum one year in yachting

Salary: €6000

Itinerary: Dual season

Requirements: Schengen or EU passport and B1/B2 visa in hand

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• 2nd Engineer III/2 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
