Summary

We are looking for an experienced Laundry Steward/ess for a permanent position on an 80m+ Private/Charter MY.

Our ideal candidate is organized and efficient, good with juggling a lot if things at the same time, a great communicator, with excellent problem-solving skills, detail oriented, strong product knowledge, ironing skills, strong knowledge of delicate fabrics, treatment and stain removal, loves to provide the highest level of service and takes pride in their work.

Our candidate works well under pressure and with a heavy workload. We are looking for a candidate to run the laundry independently, but with very close cooperation with our HOH.

We need a hardworking and enthusiastic candidate that will roll up their sleeves and help in the laundry and also assist with some crew area duties such as vacuum and mopping the floors and restock fridges, when and if needed.

This role suits someone who is social but always being professional, an easy-going, friendly and caring candidate that works hard with a smile on their face. Staying calm and professional during pressure.

Starting date: Early October – so all visas in hand (B1B2, Schengen)

About the program: Busy charter/private, double season

Required Documents/Certificates: STCW, ENG1, PDSD, Food & Hygiene level 2, Schengen Visa, B1B2

Requirements for application: 3-5 years’ experience in the same position on a similar size yacht, good verifiable references are a must.
