EXPERIENCED HOUSEKEEPER (Ideally live in Paris)

Salary: Circa 3,000 Euros net per month

Essential Requirements: Flexibility, excellent spoken English. Previous experience in UHNW Private residence, boutique/5*hotel or yachting. Great attention to detail, good communication skills. Previous experience of working within a team.

An experienced, flexible Housekeeper is required for a part residence property in Central Paris. The housekeeper will be required to ensure the safe keeping and smooth running of a private family's residence as part of a team of 3. The role is working under the head housekeeper with another housekeeper.

The family does not live in Paris full time and when they are visiting the Housekeeper should be flexible with working schedules. When not in residence 9-5pm Monday to Friday.

When they are in residence the house runs with a morning and evening shift shared between the housekeepers and temporary staff (if required). Morning shift 9-5, evening shift 1-9pm. Some weekend working on a rota will be required.

Collaborate with the head housekeeper to ensure the property is kept in top condition, clean, safe and secure at all times.

Cleaning of antiques, fine china, silverware and other delicate items in the household. This includes laundry, windows, floor treatments, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, care of upholstery, fabric, glass, leather, etc., and careful attention to the cleaning of antiques.

Service all areas regularly, following cleaning schedules to include regular deep cleaning of bathrooms/kitchens and details such as preventing lime scale build up and running taps regularly to keep water pipes fresh etc.

Liaise with the head housekeeper regarding any/all maintenance issue relating to the property.

Familiarise yourself and become confident with fire systems/alarm systems and AV systems etc.

When the family are in residence:

Maintain all areas of the house including turn up & turn down as well as the clients personal travelling staff areas.

Ensure Laundry is done to clients’ preferences (e.g. separate client/staff laundry and use preferred products etc.

Adhere to a dress code when the client is in residence.

SALARY circa 3,000 Euros net per month DOE/ Simple uniform of trousers and shirt provided. 2 days off per week. Accommodation may be available if required.
