Summary
44m Charter Vessel is looking for a rotational engineer for a busy program. The Vessel is Cayman Islands flagged and classed with RINA. New England summers with Caribbean/Bahamas winters. Candidates must hold a Y4 or equivalent SV license as a minimum with at least 2 years of experience in the position of sole/chief engineer on a similar sized Vessel. Candidates must be well spoken in the English language. B1/B2 visas for any non-USA crew. This is a busy program with owner's use in the summers and charters in the winters. The Vessel runs with MTU engines, NL gensets, ZF transmission, ABT Trac and Nautical structures hydraulics. An 18ft RIB, 39ft center console, 2 x wave runners and various other toys including seabobs and efoils.
The Vessel runs with the Aquator PMS system and preference will be given to candidates that are familiar with this software.
Candidates must be computer literate and have a strong knowledge of AVIT.
This is an 8 week on/8 week off rotational program with pay for time on and off with your first on rotation consisting of 12 weeks (which includes a 4 week handover with the current engineer during our Sep-Nov shipyard period. Preference given to candidates that are based in the USA.
