Position: sous chef/crew cook
This is a very stable program with great crew longevity. 5+ years for all heads of departments. Super nice owners. High end program.
Yacht: 40-50m range - Motor - Private
Location : Florida
Itinerary: East Coast, New England, Florida (yard period), Caribbean, Mediterranean (next year)
Ability to cook healthy crew food and cakes/desserts.
Someone who can work in a tight space (ie easy going) preferably with some cake making skills as well as healthy cooking for the crew.
Requires: STCW + Refresher as needed Current fit for duty medical - ENG1 Visa/Passport (B1/B2) - minimum validity 1 year Culinary Degree (or strong restaurant apprenticeship) Food hygiene/safety certificate ENG1 or current marine medical certificate
Clean galley habits Organized Good provisioning skills Healthy meals for the crew Good disposition No bad habits, non smoker. Please, you must be flexible and a calm personality. Shared cabin - Male only due to cabin arrangements
Salary: within yachting guidelines DOE
NOTE: May be required to get a COVID-19 test prior to joining but they will be administering one on board prior to starting.
