Job Specifics: FOR SOMEONE THAT WANTS TO SEE BEAUTIFUL WILDERNESS ALASKA.
This is a hunting/charter with up to 8 guests. YOU WILL NEED TO BE OK WITH HUNTING PRACTICES.
You will be on the boat the majority of the time on hook and the guests and captains/guide go out hunting bear for 10+ hours a day so the chef gets breakfast around 930am - 10am then packs a bag or boxed lunch then when they return around 9 or 10 at night they have dinner.
The nanny/stew is busy with school studies, making sure they stay safe on board. There is also the family dog on board.
It stays light there most of the time. You can take the skiff to shore for a walk, break but you can't really go roaming around because you are in the wilderness and you will need to be safety aware.
There is not always service but they try to go to places once per week or so so they can get a connection.
It will be a beautiful adventure and probably best for a team but if not has to be two females as they share a cabin (bunks).
You will also get tips which averages about another $200 per week.
NO DRINKING at all for the entire time for crew so that has to be ok too.
They are always in remote locations except for pick ups and drop offs and the crew are busy preparing for the next charter so no real time to explore in town.
Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience
Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, paid leave, etc. to be finalized during interview process.
