Summary

We are looking for a permanent 3rd chef on a flexible 5.1 rotation starting in March. Due to Covid and the Dutch government travel restrictions, we are looking for crew currently in Europe.

Candidate must hold a UK level 3 food hygiene certificate OR the MCA Ship’s Cook cert. STCW and current ENG-1 are non-negotiable. Ideally you will already have Crowd Control and Designated Security Duties certificates, but these can be obtained online while we finalise recruitment for the successful candidate.

The salary for a 3rd chef is between 3000-3500 euro depending on experience and skills.

All crew are currently living (and eating) on a hotel barge in the shipyard. We hope the yacht will be operational by May and head out to northern cold waters for the summer season, COVid-permitting.

As an ice-breaker, we offer luxury cruising in Patagonia, Antarctica and the Arctic Circle. We make most of our food bases from scratch and have very involved fermenting, brewing and microgreen-growing projects on board. The Head Chefs have 3 star Michelin pastry experience and extensive South-East Asian backgrounds.

Whilst in the shipyard we are fine-tuning our galley operations and always trying new experiments and food styles to develop as chefs.
