A 43m new build motor yacht is looking for an experienced and qualified Engineer to join them in Italy immediately.

It is a privately owned Superyacht run by a British Captain with lovely American family owners.

It has 2 MTU 12V 2000 engines and gross tonnage of 499, as well as a 40ft chase boat.

Crew of 9 in 5 cabins.

Candidate Requirements: - Full time permanent position - B1/B2 visa is a must - At least 2yrs experience as a Chief Engineer on a similar sized vessel - Minimum Y3 qualification is a must - Longevity / long term commitment is key for this position - Team focused yacht where all crew work together. Candidate must therefore be a team player, involved in all departments where necessary - The owners have an active interest in Engineering. Teaching the owners and willing to share knowledge with any other crew who want to learn is essential - Takes initiative - Takes responsibility for the safe and efficient running of the yacht ensuring the safety of maritime professionals and all travellers onboard - Healthy living, strictly non-smokers - Immediate start
