Job Description: This position is dual role and you will be working in the watersports team as part of the deck department. You will be required to work closely with the Watersports Manager to plan, lead and conduct all watersports activities onboard which include but are not limited to Open and Closed Circuit recreational and technical diving, Full Face Mask Diving, DPV diving and all PADI specialties, as well as Kite Surfing, Wake boarding, Zapatta, Windsurfing, Sailing, eFoiling, Kite foiling, Wake foiling, jet skiing, you will also need to help the watersports manager maintain and use Bauer HP compressors, LP compressors, air, nitrox and trimix filling equipment and a hyperbaric chamber.
You will also be required to work as part of a large deck team and take direction from the Bosun and Lead hands in all deck duties.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in tender driving, have experience working as part of a deck team, be a confident and professional dive instructor and have a thorough knowledge of kitesurfing and wind sports. You will have the ability to complete tasks without assistance and take responsibility for leading operations with crew and guests. Your appearance and dress will be immaculate and you will be expected to complete all tasks to a high standard. It would be advantageous, but not necessary, if you hold certifications and specialties in Full Face mask Diving, DPV’s, Closed Circuit Rebreather, Drone pilot, hyperbaric chamber operator, Windsurfing and Yachtmaster Offshore.
You will be required to remain flexible in your day to day activities and as operations change you must adapt quickly and continue to offer enthusiasm towards both watersports and deck operations.
