We're looking for a Relief Captain to take over the running of an Itama75 that forms part of a super yacht fleet. Normally it's used as a chase boat but now has winter seasons in the Red Sea. You'll be running sporadic day trips with the principal, his family, and possibly selected friends, as well as all the day to day cleaning and maintenance. You'll live ashore where all reasonable living expenses are covered, you'll be expected to take responsibility for all aspects of this operation including the running of a diesel jet also owned locally.
Candidates should be available in Egypt for December 1st for handover until December 29/30th when you'll be relieved. There is an opportunity for you to recruit your own second crew member for this time. Also open to a couples. Some experience with the Red Sea or how to get things done in Egypt would be preferred but not essential as a good handover will be given.
Solid previous experience in small yacht running and engineering is a must. Sadly this is not suitable for those looking for a 'first drive'. We'd rather someone suitably over qualified who has a demonstrable ability to take responsibility for your own operation. There is a possibly for more work early 2021 and perhaps a contract to deliver it back to the Med in the spring.
Return flights, accommodation and car provided. Specific terms of employment and salary are negotiable, and dependent on experience.
Please provide details of your background and previous experience, a proposal for the second crew member if you have an idea for this and your expected location end of November (for flight planning)
