Position: Mate with basic engineering skills - permanent position.

Yacht: 100 - 110' private Motor Yacht
Location: West Coast Florida
Start date: May 1st - 15th
Itinerary: West Coast Florida with some travel
Requirements: valid STCW95 and ENG1, small boating license preferred. USCG 100 or 200 ton or yachtmaster 200.
You should have at least 3 years experience on yachts, knowledge of navigation, watches, towing experience, large tender driving skills, good knowledge of general engineering. This is a small crew with high standards, everyone helps out where necessary. Must also be comfortable with service. Must be well organized and capable of handling exterior on own. Captain (has been with the owner many years) is willing to give additional training. Last Mate/Engineer on board for 6+ years.
Responsibilities: You will be responsible to look after the exterior. Assisting the Captain with some engineering.
Team: If you have worked together and been a team for many years - this is a consideration
Other: Cannot be allergic to dogs as owners have 2. Owners are fairly laid back but like nice charter quality service. Typically 5 days on/ 2 days off. Need someone self motivated who is able to find activities to do during down time (there is a beach volleyball club and a running club nearby).

Prefers US or greencard holders as the program is mostly US based. When boat is based in West Coast Florida, share 2 bedroom condo with the stew/cook when off or not travelling.
Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience.
Package: health and dental insurance, bonus package. 1 year contract.
