This one day course is designed to provide ship’s officers and ratings the required knowledge to deal with matters related to safety of passengers during an emergency. The MNTB standard requires the following learning objectives to be met during training:

1.Understand the importance of ship board emergency procedures and knows how to organise them

2.Control the response to emergencies on board

3.Control passengers and other personnel during emergency situations

4.Establish and maintain effective communications during emergency situations
