Galileo Maritime Academy is a dedicated training facility for professional seafarers engaged in the superyacht, merchant shipping, cruise ship and offshore oil & gas industries. We are accredited by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency of the UK Department for Transport (MCA) and approved to issue MCA Certificates of Competence to seafarers, the only MCA approved academy in Asia.

Our training facilities are arranged around our Crew Residence as a campus within the 200 acres of Yacht Haven Marina in Phuket, Thailand, which is the largest superyacht marina in the Asia Pacific region. These facilities include our MNTB and IMO compliant Fire Training School, a 3m deep In-Water Survival Pool, the School of Marine Engineering, our CulinaryArts School and our Survival Craft and Rescue Boats facility. We provide 16 MCA courses each month covering basic STCW 2010, the STCW Refresher courses and advanced courses such as Advanced Fire Fighting, Medical Care, Survival Craft and Rescue Boat, Fast Rescue Boat, Approved Engine Course and Efficient Deckhand Course.
