Offshore Banking
It is a good idea to get an offshore account prior to leaving your home country as once you gain a position as crew on a super yacht you will be paid in tax-free Euro, US Dollar or Pounds. The Off shore accounts are Global and do take up to a month to set up so best to do it well before you leave.
It is good to get one that is in US dollar and Euro and to make sure you have a debit card attached for each of those currencies.
